Nannied By Katerina is a private nannying and babysitting service operating across the gold coast & surrounds. When this policy says “we” or “us”, it means Katerina and anyone working with her to deliver care.

When you enquire through our website, we collect:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Your suburb, so we know whether we can reach you
• Your children's ages and the type of care you need
• Anything you choose to tell us in the message box

When you browse the site, we also collect standard technical information such as the pages you visit and the device and browser you use. If you arrive from an online advertisement, we record the click identifier that came with it so we can tell which ads are working.

If you go on to book care, we will collect further details directly from you, such as your address, your children's routines, dietary needs, allergies, medical information and emergency contacts. We only ever ask for what we genuinely need to look after your children safely.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

We advertise on Google, and we use Google Tag Manager and Google Ads to measure whether those ads lead to genuine enquiries.

When you submit an enquiry form, a scrambled version of your email address and phone number may be sent to Google so it can match your enquiry back to an ad you clicked. This is a Google feature called enhanced conversions. Your details are converted into an irreversible code in your own browser before they are sent, using a process called hashing, so Google never receives your readable email address or phone number, and neither the code nor anything derived from it is used to contact you.

We use this only to measure advertising performance. You can control how Google personalises ads to you at myadcenter.google.com.

Our site uses cookies and similar storage set by Google to measure advertising and to keep your visit working smoothly. We also store the advertising click reference in your browser for up to 90 days so that an enquiry can be linked to the ad that brought you here.

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. The site will keep working normally if you do.

We share your information only with the services that help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:

• Vercel, which hosts this website
• Resend, which delivers your enquiry to our inbox
• Google, for the advertising measurement described above
• Our accountant, insurer or a regulator, where the law requires it

Some of these providers store data outside Australia. We only use established providers who are contractually required to protect your information.

Any information about your children comes from you, their parent or guardian. We use it purely to care for them properly and safely. We never share it with anyone outside the care arrangement without your permission, unless we are legally required to, or a child is at risk of harm.

We keep your information secure with access controls and reputable providers, and only the people who need it can see it. No system online is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously, particularly given how sensitive information about children is.

We keep enquiry records for up to two years. Records relating to actual bookings are kept for seven years, as tax and insurance rules require. After that we delete them.

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. Just email us and we will take care of it, usually within a few days.

If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Please check back occasionally.
